Disable Dell Wireless in Win XP

Click the Windows Key
Look for Run
in Run type services.msc

Double Click on Dell Wireless
Set Start Up type to MANUAL
Set Service Status to STOP
APPLY all changes and click on OK

You can now enable Windows to configure Wireless

Go back to the Services Window
Double Click on Wireless Zero Configuration
Set Start Up type to AUTOMATIC
Set Service Status to START
APPLY all changes and click on OK
